Review: Miss Ky’s Couture

I found Miss Ky’s Couture at the Haymarket Farmer’s Market in my area. When I passed by the booth, I saw a few different pieces that I liked. It was the charm necklaces that caught my eye originally.

Then I saw the earrings she made. I really like how simple some of them are without looking boring. I believe that all of her earrings are made from sterling silver.

Kylee also makes personalized silver tag style necklaces. I also found a handful of other really cute pieces that were a bit on the fun side. Brightly colored coiled rings, or button embellished rings in a variety of sizes, colors, and shapes. Or, if you prefer the more sophisticated pieces she has oodles of pearl and silver items. I wanted to get several different colored pearl necklaces.

However, what I ended up walking away with is three of her bottle cap charms. Why did I get them? I wanted to make a creative mother’s necklace. My one of a kind necklace includes a charm that has a letter representing each of my children, and one with an “!” for the baby I never got to meet.

A few things that I like about these specific pieces is that the charms may rub up against each other, but they haven’t gotten scratched up at all. Also, I can switch them up to a variety of different chain styles and lengths. I love the number of choices that this gives me. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on how cute the necklace is, and how wonderful the mother’s necklace idea is.

I’ve got nothing but good things to say about Kylee and her jewelry. She was very pleasant to talk to despite how blazing hot out it was, or how busy the market was. I know that I will be going back to her booth soon, and can’t wait to show you what I get next!

  1. Hi,
Aren’t those markets fun! I have one coming up Columbus Day weekend. A friend I work out with makes jewelry and sews and I can’t wait to see her wares.
She is also making some turquoise pieces just for me. I have now dubbed Tuesdays Turquoise Tuesdays and anyone from the blog via facebook or twitter can let me know how they got Turquoised.
