What They Wore: DIY Crafts
For this week’s What They Wore I’m still doing something different. The last month or so, I have been seeing a lot of really simple DIY projects go through my reader. I thought, it would be fun to highlight some of the DIY’s that jumped out at me. Hopefully, you enjoy them as much as I did, and maybe you even find one or two that you make yourself.
Abby from, The Closet Files, did a simple and inexpensive ($4) DIY peacock earring post.
Meggy, of Chasing Davies, made a super simple DIY rope necklace that makes a great statement piece. You could make it in any color too.
Katy, of ModlyChic, gathered up her siblings and a few supplies to make some fun and quiet clay bangles.

If you have a DIY post that you would like to share please link up below. I could use the extra inspiration, and would LOVE to see what you’ve been up to.

Seems as though peacock feathers are flavour of the month, as I’ve linked up my peacock feather DIY fix too. Thanks for organising the linky party.

Thanks for linking up. I’ve like peacock feathers for a while, but don’t own any embellished pieces. That may change in the near future. Thanks for linking up.
My daughter would LOVE those earrings. She has a gazillion pair of feather earrings & trust me when I tell you that those babies are expensive!

I can only imagine how they can add up. Abby, the author of that DIY, said her inspiration pair cost $15. Yikes!
Hi friendship bracelet swap partner! I just wanted to stop by and say I…then I found a link up that I had a relevant post for….yay!

Glad you could link up!
Here’s my latest, I love how it turned out: http://www.dismountcreative.com/diy-kelly-wearstler-inspired-scarf
Like the peacock earrings, not so keen on the rope necklace. DIY crafts really appeal to me. Shops really overcharge for this sort of thing and it is much cheaper and more enjoyable to do it oneself
