Feline Fine in Leopard Print

sweater dress, skinny jeans, leopard print shoes, leopard printFinally! I finally own a leopard print item. I’ve loved how so many bloggers work leopard print into their wardrobe while looking great. It really is a fantastic print that can be fun and cute or very classy. For my first leopard piece I chose a simple pair of flats from Target. They can be dressed up or down, and with black or brown. Overall I’m very happy with my choice.

I wore this outfit on a quick date night with Nate sans kids. We kept it simple with a quick dinner at Pepperjax Grill and a trip to the grocery store for fruits and veggies to use in ┬áNate’s new juicer I gave him for Valentine’s Day. We also stopped at Target. What date night isn’t complete without a trip to Target?!?! Seriously though, we had some stuff we needed to get, and every now and again it is easier without keeping an eye on my kids too.

Now that I’ve mentioned this juicer (I just may be addicted) do you have any combinations I should try? Right now I am loving pretty much anything with cucumber in it.leopard print flats, ballet flats, shoes, leopard print shoes

    • Heck, we had lots of shopping date nights while dating. I was dancing almost every night of the week, so if Nate wanted to spend time with me it was usually doing whatever errands I needed to get done.

  2. My favorite juice (makes enough for two)…

    1/2 bunch kale
    2 handfuls spinach
    3 carrots
    3 celery stalks
    2 apples
1/4-1/2 inch slice of fresh ginger (the perfect zing to keep it from being to sweet!)

Make sure to add the ginger early in the line-up so it gets “washed” through. I’ll add cucumber too. If I have it. I think of it and celery as extenders for the more concentrated leafy greens.

  3. Yeah for the leopard flats. I’ve had my eyes on a pair for ages. My mother makes lots of smoothies, often with whatever is on hand, spinach and berries and whey powder. They often look ugly, but taste great.

    • It just seems natural to head over to Target before wrapping things up. I agree, I’ve already gotten a lot of use out of them. Leopard print goes with so many things. I also feel that it dresses up some basic outfits a bit.

  5. Oh I love those flats, very nice!
