It’s all in the accessorizing

These pictures were taken with my iPhone by my husband. The top one was filtered through instagram, but the bottom two are un edited. I don’t normally post phone photos, but I wasn’t going to make it back home in time to get my camera and take pictures before it got dark out. (Darn daylight savings time!) So, while we were waiting around for Nate’s mom to finish up with a bit of work she had to do I asked Nate to snap a few pictures for me.

The outfit isn’t anything special either. I hadn’t planned on leaving the house. When Nate asked if I wanted to run to the grocery store I put on a necklace and boots, and was out the door. Honestly, I don’t think I did to bad for accessorizing a nursing tank and jeans20111130-212144.jpgThe Scoop

They take vintage finds and repurpose them. For instance, this ring was once a clip on earring. What They Wore: DIY Crafts

For this week’s What They Wore I’m still doing something different. The last month or so, I have been seeing a lot of really simple DIY projects go through my reader. I thought, it would be fun to highlight some of the DIY’s that jumped out at me. Hopefully, you enjoy them as much as I did, and maybe you even find one or two that you make yourself.

What They Wore: Pregnancy Fashion #3

Have you seen Sydney yet? Yes, that Sydney. Sydney, of the Daybook, has been looking fabulous during her pregnancy thus far. It can’t be a surprise that she is my next pregnancy fashion blogger. Check out #1 and #2 looking lovely as well.

Comfy Chic

Just because you may be dealing with pregnancy fatigue, and all you want to wear is pajamas does not mean you have to sacrifice style for comfort. Try wearing a soft blousy top, and leggings or stretchy jeans. It is ok to leave the 5 inch heels at home for a day too.
