Some people like condiments, and pile them on like crazy. Others avoid them like the plague. While some, like me, choose to use only one. While I do not like the taste of mustard I LOVE the color. I think it looks great paired with these camel colored dress pants, my blue scarf, and leopard print ballet flats.

It’s Friday people! Honestly, this was a very long week. I don’t have big plans for this weekend except for attending my cousin’s wedding on Sunday afternoon. Saturday, I plan on sleeping in and going about my day in as relaxed a way as I possibly can. This is my second to last weekend off, before, Nate and I are back to working opposite shifts on Saturdays. Double this with the fact that he works Sunday mornings also, weekends aren’t easy for us if we want to see each other at all.

What are you doing this weekend? For those of you who have gone back to school to teach or learn, or have children in school how have the first days gone? Have you fell into your stride and figured out schedules and such? I’ve been writing out my lesson plans for the first week of classes, and now I need to come up with choreography for combos too. I love my job!

If you want to see real pictures taken in Narnia check out the shots Wyn took for my sister’s engagement pictures. I just was standing next to a lamppost. Honestly, I was happier about this outfit when I had a tan cami underneath, but that had a large stain on it before I took pictures. The black camisole is just too distracting, and the blouse was too low cut to do without.

This is what I wore the evening Nate and I went out for a quick dinner to celebrate our five year wedding anniversary. Nate said I looked like a cross between a dance teacher and a disco ball. Due to all of the construction and roadwork downtown while the new arena is being constructed I knew we would have to do quite a bit of walking to get from the car to the restaurant. I wanted to be comfortable, yet still wear something fun since it was a celebration after all! Easy to walk in flats and a cotton dress with a few extra bits of sparkle was the perfect combination.

After dinner we went to the creamery building, so I could get brownie ice cream in a waffle cone. Then, it was a hike up to The Mill for Nate to get a Milano. On the way back to the car we passed an old hardware store that matched my outfit, so we snapped my picture there.

Lady in Red

red dress, dress, cotton dress, leopard print, leopard print ballet flats, ballet flats, shoesThe first time I wore this outfit I was called the “lady in red”. I was also pretty pregnant at eight months along. This cotton, maternity dress from Target was cozy than, and now it is still ultra comfy. During my last pregnancy I didn’t wear a lot of maternity pieces. Honestly, I think I’ve worn a few of my maternity items more often when not pregnant. red dress, dress, cotton dress, leopard print, leopard print ballet flats, ballet flats, shoesLyla and I had a bit of extra fun while Nate took our photos today.
