It feels like I just wore this outfit. Well, a few days ago I posted this version of the same outfit. I didn’t even realize that I was doing this. I intended on wearing my grey, wool, pencil skirt, however, I found out that it has a tear in it.

I couldn’t Let summer slide by without wearing my Hawaiian print dress at last once. Last summer, I wore it to one of the last Farmer’s Market trips I took before baby Jazz made his grand arrival. However, I knew I wanted to style it differently this time. I decided it was cool enough for a bit of layering. I tucked the dress into a full skirt and belted it. Put on a pair of faux wooden heels and called it an outfit. What do you think?

If you want to see real pictures taken in Narnia check out the shots Wyn took for my sister’s engagement pictures. I just was standing next to a lamppost. Honestly, I was happier about this outfit when I had a tan cami underneath, but that had a large stain on it before I took pictures. The black camisole is just too distracting, and the blouse was too low cut to do without.

I don’t have much for you today, but I liked this outfit and I wanted to share the quick phone pictures I snapped at the studio. The blouse and wedges were thrifted, and I’ve gotten a fair amount of use out of them for the price paid.

I’m younger than some moms, but I am definitely not an idiot. Saturday, my kids had both had a very long day. We went to the farmer’s market in the morning, followed by lunch with my family, than Lyla went with my sister and her fiancé to the children’s zoo. In the late afternoon, we went to my grandpa’s house for supper. On our way home both kids started screaming in the car. I’m not entirely sure why, but I’m positive it was a train reaction. When one kid cries it upsets the other. Anyway, it was getting pretty loud as thing escalated. Since, I already had a headache I rolled down my window. That way the screams weren’t bouncing around the car making things worse for all three of us.

we pulled up to a stop sign and the jerk in the car next to me yells out his window at me that I need to pull over and take care of my kids. I’m glad the light was short, because, if I had to stay next to that idiot for very long he would have gotten more than just a piece of my mind. I mean really…did it look like I was intentionally hurting my kids?!?! No! It was just a long day, hot out, and my kids were exhausted and cranky. Surely, the idiot was not me but him.
