Easter equals eShakti

I must say, eShakti is, one of my favorite online clothing companies, high up on my list of special occasion clothing stops. When Jennifer contacted me to review eShakti’s spring and summer line I knew I would find the perfect Easter dress. It was pretty hard to choose. I found so many quirky, fun printed dresses. After finding this hot air balloon printed dress I fell in love.

This year, I knew what kind of look I was going for. I wanted a full skirt, however, I also wanted a slim line. I wanted a dress that I could wear my most comfortable pair of heels. This dress was just that! eShakti offers customization of their clothing line too. I chose a longer length, inset cap sleeves, and a v-neck. One of the silliest things I love about eShakti dresses is that so many of them have pockets! Pockets, my dear friends, are God’s gift to dresses and skirts. Another bonus I didn’t discover until I put the dress on was that it has snaps for my bra straps. Definitely a pleasant surprise!

Part of the Crew

We have made it to the middle of the week. I’ve got to say this has been a very slow going week. It isn’t like anything bad has happened. Things are just not going the normal way. Jazz has been waking up early and that just throws off the morning.

I will say Jazz is a very good laundry helper. He was taking the cloth diapers out of the wash for me to hang up. When we finished I asked him to start loading the wash with both of the kid’s clothes. He started putting things in. He gets a few pieces in, and starts pulling them back out. I look to see why, and he is reaching in for two more cloth diapers we had missed. Smart cookie!

Faux Fur Friday Redux

When my husband gave me this faux fur vest for Christmas last year I liked it, but was unsure how I would wear it. Last week I wore it in a color blocked look with lilac colored jeans and a blue sweater. This week I styled more of a throwback look with a vintage dress, colored tights, and a pair of boots.

Little Black Dress

I’m on a roll with the pieces from eShakti. I’ve worn their chevron printed skirt, bird print dress, and the red lines dress. Want to know what they all have in common?!?! I love them all! This little black dress just might be my favorite dress from that order. It is soft and oh so comfy, while the detailing adds some class and flair. I upped the drama and pulled on a pair of colored tights, and zipped on my ankle boots. My husband gave this outfit two thumbs up!

Review: Fall in Love with eShakti

I’ve reviewed Eshakti before and loved working with the company, as well as, the fantastic clothing they provide. They allow you the option to choose normal sizing or custom sizing based on your measurements. Most pieces you can also choose how you want it cut too by altering things such as the neckline. hem length, or sleeve choices. They really go above and beyond to make wonderful clothing for wonderful women! I loved my first dress from them, so I was excited to browse their fall line too. In fact, it was hard to settle on just one dress. I loved so many of them. In the end, I chose this black dress with the red lines.

I love this dress on me. It has cute cap sleeves, a nice neckline, scoop back, exposed zipper, and a front vent slit too. I chose to style the dress for its first outing with my moto jacket, silver tights, and boots. Perfect for the cool fall day. I can see so many other styling options for it too. I think next time I will pair it with a scarf in yet another contrasting color. My only problem with the dress is that after a normal morning/afternoon’s wear the slit in front ripped. However, after contacting Eshakti they are looking to see if the fabric is still available to replace the dress.
