In 2003, the city of Lincoln had a public art exhibit around town that featured artistic bicycle sculptures. Of course, it was aptly named the Tour de Lincoln. At the end of the 5 month public run a large auction was held. Many of the 71 bikes on display still remain in the city, although, some have different permanent homes.
I ran across one of the bikes during my “Best Friend” photo shoot, and decided it would be a good project to try and take my ootd pictures with as many of the Tour de Lincoln bicycles that I could find. This may take awhile, but here is my starting point on my personal Tour de Lincoln.
