Ease on Down the Road
This trapeze tank top is another item I received from my sister when she cleaned out her closet. I kind of LOVE it! Very light and airy. Simply perfect for blistering summer weather. Which by the way, with kids going back to school shouldn’t we be getting some cooler almost fall like weather? I would love to wear a new pair of jeans I’ve got hanging in my closet.
Now to turn things around for a second. I have to say that a baby in a t-shirt and cloth diaper is probably the cutest thing I’ve seen all summer. I really like this particular robot cover from Rumparooz.

Window Shopping
This weekend Nate and I went to see the Hunger Games with a few of my family members. Because, we were unsure of how busy a 12:30 showing would be Nate and I agreed to show up at the mall early to save our spots in line. In all reality, we didn’t need to do that, so I did a little window shopping while Nate sat reading his Nook. I thought it would make a decent post to share some of my favorite window displays.
The Gap had a cute blue and white themed display that really caught my eye. Blue is my favorite colors, but this particular shade is just so pretty for summer. The cobalt blue maxi skirt is definitely on my wish list!
As usual, Gap Kids had a setup that I had to snap a picture of. I would love to have an unlimited shopping spree at Gap/Gap Kids! Oh what a haul that would be!
The last window display is from The Loft. Not only do I like that their mannequins have lips. I liked the coral colors, florals, and stripes. You will see a lot of this color for spring and summer 2012.
That’s it! My window shopping wrap up! What have you been spying in the windows of stores near you?
That didn’t take very long
I’ve got news that makes me very happy, but won’t mean very much to you. Less than four months ago I was dressing creatively to feel pretty while being nine months pregnant. Well, today I was able to successfully button up my smallest pair of jeans! WooHoo!!! I still have a few more pounds to loose before I’m back at pre-pregnancy weight, but as long as my clothes fit I’m a happy girl!
I picked up this sweatshirt/jacket at Scout Dry Goods & Trade on a weekend shopping trip to Omaha. Nate and I haven’t been on a good shopping trip in a while. It was fun even taking both of the kids with us. The funny part is we could have gone to lots of stores that we don’t have in Lincoln. What do we do? We go to a second hand store and a Goodwill. I must say this was one of my favorite Goodwill stores ever. Very well organized and lots of stuff!
The next time we go to Omaha I want to hit up Charming Charlie’s. I am in a great need of some new accessories. Not a desperate need that has to be met mind you. However, I don’t have a lot of accessories and part of my style resolutions is to try to wear more accessories. Have you had experience at this store? Do you like the stuff? How is the quality?

Getting Comfy With It
Oh the joys of holiday weekends! This comfy get up was what I wore the morning/afternoon before last weekends wedding. Sadly, I was too busy to get any pictures of the dress I wore to the wedding. I’ll have to wear it again, and soon too. I loved it, and can’t wait to share it with you.
One thing I can share with you about the dress is it is a lovely piece courtesy of eShakti. They have been kind enough to offer my readers $20 off there own order.(just use code NOGUILT0811 good until 12/31/11) I love this company. They have fabulous pieces that you can order as is, or have customized to fit you how you would like. Let me say, they did not disappoint.
