I’m on a roll with the pieces from eShakti. I’ve worn their chevron printed skirt, bird print dress, and the red lines dress. Want to know what they all have in common?!?! I love them all! This little black dress just might be my favorite dress from that order. It is soft and oh so comfy, while the detailing adds some class and flair. I upped the drama and pulled on a pair of colored tights, and zipped on my ankle boots. My husband gave this outfit two thumbs up!

I know I’m not the only person who tries to do everything by themselves. Currently, I’m trying to workout at the gym in the morning Monday-Friday, run any necessary errands, clean the house/laundry, play with the kids, teach dance in the afternoon/evenings, and trying to run this blog. I will admit that this blog has fallen to higher ranking priorities. That fact doesn’t necessarily bother me. It was the fact that I was not organized enough to find a balance that worked for everything. I know I can do it, because, I’ve done it all before. I think I’ve found the solution. Instead of hitting snooze until the kids wake up, I will get up the first time my alarm goes off. Not only will I be able to blog in bed, by doing this, I should also eliminate the headache I sometimes get from dozing off again and again. Hopefully, that means I not only have time to regularly post here, but also visit the blogs that I miss reading too. The only part I haven’t found the best answer to is how/when/where to wear normal clothes and get pictures taken. Hmmm…it will all fall into place.

This is the outfit I wore when we celebrated Jazz’s birthday. I have actually worn this dress many times before, but decided to turn it around and have a deep V in back, since, I was wearing a scarf with it. I liked the surprise it added to the look.

Fall Fabulous

fall colors, camel dress pants, t-strap shoes, high heels, bows,

First outfit of the day post Labor Day, and I’m bringing you fabulous fall colors. This is the outfit I wore to a casual, afternoon wedding last week. It ended up being the perfect outfit. Dressed up enough to fit in, but comfortable enough to endure the heat of a late August wedding.

fall colors, wedding attire, t-strap shoes, camel dress pants, bows, high heelsWhat are you looking forward to most about your fall wardrobe choices? I can’t wait to wear boots and colored tights again. I’m planning a We Love Colors  order soon. They have the best color selection ever, and the quality of the tights is amazing. They are as tough as nails, but super soft too.fall colors, wedding attire, wedding guest, camel dress pants, high heels, t-straps

I couldn’t Let summer slide by without wearing my Hawaiian print dress at last once. Last summer, I wore it to one of the last Farmer’s Market trips I took before baby Jazz made his grand arrival. However, I knew I wanted to style it differently this time. I decided it was cool enough for a bit of layering. I tucked the dress into a full skirt and belted it. Put on a pair of faux wooden heels and called it an outfit. What do you think?

Dedicated

baby dedication, family picture, familyLast weekend Nate and I had baby Jazz dedicated at our church. I don’t have any great outfit pictures from this weekend, but I liked my outfit. Sharing these pictures is the best way I can show off my outfit, and my family. It was a nice time together with family too. After we left church we went out to eat with our families, and Lyla got to spend a little extra time with her cousin. She loves that little guy.

After lunch, we headed back home and I was able to enjoy a refreshing nap. That doesn’t happen very often. Usually, if anyone gets to nap on Sunday it isn’t me. I’m usually busy with laundry, cleaning, or taking care of whichever kiddo didn’t take a nap while Nate sleeps.family, baby dedicationfamily
