This sweater and my husband’s old button up have proven themselves quite valuable in my wardrobe. Both pieces have been worn in pre, post, and in the height of pregnancy wardrobes. However, I believe this is the first time these two have been combined. Must say, I love the results.

These fuschia colored, cutoffs where once my $1 goodwill treasure that I wore like crazy during my pregnancy. However, in this post they were saved to live another day. Boy, am I glad I made the decision to save them. I’ve worn them so many times during this hotter than usual summer. So what if they are big and almost fall off by the end of the day a little big?!?! They fill the spot in my summer wardrobe perfectly, and didn’t cost many any more money.
My husband bought me a laptop battery for my MacBook that I am despertally awaiting the arrival of. It is unbelievably hard to blog on a laptop that you must keep plugged in when Jazz is crawling EVERYWHERE including over and around the cord that will pop free with the slightest pull. I have been blogging on my iPad for the most part. However, that works when I don’t have a lot to say or when posting infrequently.

Last weekend Nate and I had baby Jazz dedicated at our church. I don’t have any great outfit pictures from this weekend, but I liked my outfit. Sharing these pictures is the best way I can show off my outfit, and my family. It was a nice time together with family too. After we left church we went out to eat with our families, and Lyla got to spend a little extra time with her cousin. She loves that little guy.
After lunch, we headed back home and I was able to enjoy a refreshing nap. That doesn’t happen very often. Usually, if anyone gets to nap on Sunday it isn’t me. I’m usually busy with laundry, cleaning, or taking care of whichever kiddo didn’t take a nap while Nate sleeps.

I picked this dress up on a “leave the kids with grandma, mom needs some alone time” thrifting trip just after Jazz was born. Even though I wore normal clothes most of my pregnancy it felt like I had nothing to wear now. Part of this was true, and not the mysterious fashion girl standing in front of her closet drama. I didn’t have very many things that worked well for me, since I was nursing. I’ve now become more comfortable nursing in just about anything in my closet. I found this dress, and knew the neckline would work for nursing and I would feel put together in it.
Because, of the cold weather it was necessary for me to where tights. I couldn’t decide what color to wear, so I threw a few pairs on the bed and made Nate choose. Since, he picked yellow I went with black shoes, put on a gold and amber toned necklace, and went out the door.

Today, I bundled up the kids and headed out to my six week check-up. I took this opportunity to dress up a bit. I paired the water colors skirt I picked up at Scout Dry Goods on Fashion’s Night Out with coordinating tights.
I don’t get to dress up very often. I spend my day at home getting spit up on. Followed by putting on work out clothes to teach dance almost every afternoon/evening. Don’t get me wrong I do get dressed. I just don’t get the chance to take pictures very often.
I really like this skirt. The colors are so pretty, and the tights are a good match. I originally wanted to wear this with a pair of my heeled boots. However, I opted for the Lucky’s silver ballet flats. I didn’t want to juggle the car seat, wrangle in a 3 year old, and navigate in heels with it being so windy out.
