Sweater, Button Up, Pencil Skirt, Boots
This sweater and my husband’s old button up have proven themselves quite valuable in my wardrobe. Both pieces have been worn in pre, post, and in the height of pregnancy wardrobes. However, I believe this is the first time these two have been combined. Must say, I love the results.

If you want to see real pictures taken in Narnia check out the shots Wyn took for my sister’s engagement pictures. I just was standing next to a lamppost. Honestly, I was happier about this outfit when I had a tan cami underneath, but that had a large stain on it before I took pictures. The black camisole is just too distracting, and the blouse was too low cut to do without.

Dedicated

baby dedication, family picture, familyLast weekend Nate and I had baby Jazz dedicated at our church. I don’t have any great outfit pictures from this weekend, but I liked my outfit. Sharing these pictures is the best way I can show off my outfit, and my family. It was a nice time together with family too. After we left church we went out to eat with our families, and Lyla got to spend a little extra time with her cousin. She loves that little guy.

After lunch, we headed back home and I was able to enjoy a refreshing nap. That doesn’t happen very often. Usually, if anyone gets to nap on Sunday it isn’t me. I’m usually busy with laundry, cleaning, or taking care of whichever kiddo didn’t take a nap while Nate sleeps.family, baby dedicationfamily

What do you do on Sunday afternoons?

plaid shirt, khaki skirt, yellow tights, black bootsOnce upon a time a mother woke up while both of her children were still sleeping. She was wide awake, and took the time to do some reading all alone. She thought that, because, she was so awake now she would get around to her work later.

She went about getting breakfast ready for the oldest, and setting up something to keep her entertained while she nursed the baby. As she nursed the youngest she could feel her eyes become heavy. Her son drifted off after eating till he was content. the mother had great plans of getting a blog post written, and maybe even visiting some of her favorite blogs. However, none of that was going to happen. All three characters cuddled up under the covers and took a much needed nap.

red tights, pencil skirt, leather jacketI’m happy to say that I’m back in the Everybody, Everywear round up. I actually missed out on voting and even the announcement that colored tights won. Thankfully, I caught Linda’s tweet. I looked down and to my surprise I was wearing a new pair of colored tights. Yep! That is how in tune with the fashion community I am.

floral print blouse, grey pencil skirt, leather jacketI love tights. They are incredibly useful in an outfit. They can add warmth, color, and texture to an otherwise plain outfit. I picked up a three new pairs of tights on Friday when I was wasting time at Target. Waisting time at Target can be quite dangerous, so walking out with only three pairs of tights, a lip stain, and the new Adelle CD (which by the way is fabulous).
