Stepping Out In Stripes

Shhhh…I’ve got a secret to tell you. This dress is super comfortable. You want to know the reason why? I got it on clearance in Targets pajama section. Yes! I’m wearing pajamas in public, and I don’t care one bit. I will be honest and say that I didn’t wear it to bed before or after wearing it out and about.

I like this “dress” all by itself, but I decided to put a scarf on and belt the whole thing. I also, got to break out my favorite wedge sandals. These sandals got a lot of compliments from the most fashionable of older church ladies.

Simple and Sweet

Sometimes, the simplest of outfits are the comfiest and sweetest. I’m not going to lie. February, has been the LONGEST month ever! Nate has worked every Friday night in addition to his 9-5 job and normal weekend hours at his second job. I have hardly seen him, and have had the kids by myself most of that time too. I’m tired and didn’t want to fuss with a special outfit. A striped shirt, ombré scarf, skinny jeans, and moccasins was the perfect mix.

Take It to the Max

The weekend is here! This has week hasn’t been the easiest, but last night totally made up for it! My last class of the week totally ROCKED!!! I only had three of my students, but they worked super hard, and killed it! It was a fabulous way to end the week. I don’t have any big plans for the weekend. Tonight is movie night with my sister. I have a few classes to teach on Saturday morning, but after that I get to zone out and spend some time with my family.

I’ve worn this shirt multiple times since picking it up on clearance. However, this is its first blog appearance. I really like the stripes with bold lip prints. This time I paired it under a blazer and on top of over the knee boots.

This has been a crazy week. I’ve had a headache almost everyday for reasons I can’t figure out. I’m getting about the same amount of sleep I always get. I haven’t consumed anything unusual either. It’s just annoying to wake up fine get one thing done around the house and to get hit by a headache.

Ten Points for Gryffindor

When I started crocheting again for the season my sister and I joked how I should make a scarf with the Gryffindor house colors. I received a Michael’s gift card for Christmas. When I found out they were also holding their yarn sale event I searched for the right colors to make this a reality.
