What does every woman do when they REALLY need a haircut? They throw their hair up in a pony tail or a bun. Obviously, both of those options are not open for me. Instead, I chose the head scarf/faux bun route instead. My students thought it was weird and didn’t understand it. However, the parents liked it. What do you think?

We have made it to the middle of the week. I’ve got to say this has been a very slow going week. It isn’t like anything bad has happened. Things are just not going the normal way. Jazz has been waking up early and that just throws off the morning.
I will say Jazz is a very good laundry helper. He was taking the cloth diapers out of the wash for me to hang up. When we finished I asked him to start loading the wash with both of the kid’s clothes. He started putting things in. He gets a few pieces in, and starts pulling them back out. I look to see why, and he is reaching in for two more cloth diapers we had missed. Smart cookie!

Happy Monday folks! Monday and happy don’t usually exist in the same sentence. However, today is a happy Monday for me. We are borrowing my Dad’s car. We are purchasing a new car in the next couple of months. For the last few months I’ve been driving a car without many luxuries, including but not limited to, no heat. Few reasons this is hard to handle. 1. I live in Nebraska- it’s cold! 2. I have two kids with me most of the time. 3. I drive for 45 minutes late at night. The car we are borrowing not only has heat the windows work too! This car is why today is a happy Monday!

I’m pretty sure my four year old daughter knows more about dinosaurs than I do. Lyla has been watching the Dinosaur Train on Netflix. Every once and awhile she will throw out some random point of interest that surprises me. That makes me feel a bit better about when I have to take care of something and she needs to be in one place for awhile.
That has absolutely nothing to do with this outfit. I honestly, don’t have that much to say about this outfit. I think every time I wear this skirt I wear this chunky white belt. Since I thrifted this skirt I must have lost weight. I simply can not wear this skirt without a belt.
