When I started crocheting again for the season my sister and I joked how I should make a scarf with the Gryffindor house colors. I received a Michael’s gift card for Christmas. When I found out they were also holding their yarn sale event I searched for the right colors to make this a reality.

All over the nation, we had a mild winter. Spring is here now, but it feels a bit more like summer. On one of the few cooler, spring like day I wore this slightly autumnal sweater/color palate. It wasn’t anything really special, because, it was another day I didn’t know what I would be doing out at the studio.
On my way to work, I stopped in Ashland to snap up a few pictures of my outfit. I was having camera trouble, so these aren’t the best pictures. However, you get the basic feeling of my outfit.

Last Friday night (not to be confused by the annoyingly catchy Katy Perry song) was my dance studio’s Christmas Party. We went out for pedicures (something as a woman in general I like, but as a dancer that abuses my feet I love a good pedicure) and dinner at Upstream Brewery. A fantastic time was had by all. I have to say that I think my job has the best staff Christmas parties EVER!!!
I had to dress warm, because, of the snow and freezing cold weather. However, I had to be able to roll up my pants for the pedicure. I can’t quite comfortably fit into my wider legged pants yet, so I choose to wear leggings with my sweater dress. I was comfortably warm and appropriately dressed for the occasion.

Oh the joys of holiday weekends! This comfy get up was what I wore the morning/afternoon before last weekends wedding. Sadly, I was too busy to get any pictures of the dress I wore to the wedding. I’ll have to wear it again, and soon too. I loved it, and can’t wait to share it with you.
