Part of the Crew

We have made it to the middle of the week. I’ve got to say this has been a very slow going week. It isn’t like anything bad has happened. Things are just not going the normal way. Jazz has been waking up early and that just throws off the morning.

I will say Jazz is a very good laundry helper. He was taking the cloth diapers out of the wash for me to hang up. When we finished I asked him to start loading the wash with both of the kid’s clothes. He started putting things in. He gets a few pieces in, and starts pulling them back out. I look to see why, and he is reaching in for two more cloth diapers we had missed. Smart cookie!

Faux Fur Friday Redux

When my husband gave me this faux fur vest for Christmas last year I liked it, but was unsure how I would wear it. Last week I wore it in a color blocked look with lilac colored jeans and a blue sweater. This week I styled more of a throwback look with a vintage dress, colored tights, and a pair of boots.

Styling Spring for Winter

You can’t see it, but it is snowing! However, this is posted almost a week after our first snow fall. That does mean that I’m staying ahead of the blogging curve, and getting pictures taken and posted on a regular basis. Go Me!!!!

Neutral Shot

I feel like I’m wearing camouflage. I blend in with the blah surroundings we have in Nebraska right now. Still no snow (not that I’m asking for any), and grey skies all the time. The only spice I added to this otherwise neutral toned outfit is my magenta colored tights. However, those barely peek out from between my suede skirt, and knee high boots. I do have a lot of texture going on! My jacket is corduroy too.

Birds on the Line

This is another dress from eShakti. I have a sort of have a small thing for birds, so when I found this dress I knew it was right for me. I love the pattern, fit, and feel of the fabric. Again, I lucked out and this dress has pockets too! I love pockets.

My week is going much better than it was the end of last week and the beginning of this week. I am still sad and tired, but physically I’m on the up swing. Hooray for that! Now it is Wednesday, and I’m only two more days away from my favorite Christmas party of the year! The studio staff party is hands down just what I need.
