The Long and Short of It

I realized today, that I must now pin back my bangs. They are too long, and have become a nuisance. I suppose the other option is to trim them, but if I do that I will most likely get a complete hair cut. I love my short hair, but I think I may grow it out again. What do you think? Here is a picture from way back in high school when I had long hair.
It isn’t a great picture, but I’m sure you get the gist of the way long hair looks on me. So, tell me what you think? To cut or not to cut? If I do decide to grow it out I have to come up with something to trick myself into not thinking I’m growing it out. Whenever I decide to not cut my hair, because, I want long hair again guess what I do? I’m sure you said I cut it. If you did you are right. Anybody have suggestions on what to take to help your hair grow faster?

30 for 30: Outfit #21

 This is probably my least favorite 30 for 30 remix so far. I like everything together, but it just seems bulky and stumpy. I should have worn heels, and maybe tucked in and belted the shirt and skirt. Oh well I was sick and it was cold, so comfort and necessity won out. What do you do on those days?

Have I told you blue is my favorite color? Well, it is and this cardigan is probably my favorite shade of blue too. I know some people choose to wear rich jewel tones during the fall and winter seasons, but I still prefer to wear bright colors. Doesn’t mean I won’t wear a jewel colored top on occasion. Just not today!

30 for 30: Outfit #17

Red and green get a bad rap when they are mentioned in the same sentence in regards to an outfit. When I picked my 30 for 30 pieces, and realized I had a green sweater and my red pencil skirt I knew I had to give it a try. I’m not thrilled with the results, but I don’t think it was awfully tacky either. What do you think? Do you do red and green, or save it for the ugly sweater parties? Either way I figured this challenge is the perfect time to experiment, and go outside of my comfort zone.

At one of my favorite blogs, Style Underdog, she is celebrating her birthday week with outfits exploding with color. Now if you have followed this woman for long you know she has quite the panache for wearing neutrals with some major style. She is putting that behind for this weeks challenge.
